Well, I went to see Al Martino last night and it was great. The Opera House in Buxton is a great venue, well worth a vist if you are in the area, even if you aren't seeing a show there. It is as you would imagine a theatre to look like when they were new at the turn of the century. The show was in t...

After coming back from holiday a week or so ago, I have been feeling a bit low at work. So I dug my old walkman out, and I have been listening to Alma Cogan whilst painting up a house. She has worked wonders for my morale! Thanks, Alma.

Well, I went to the concert at the Palladium. I drove down from my home nr. Manchester to watch it, mainly because of Don Blacks' association with Matt. I can honestly say it was a brilliant concert. Micheal Parkinson was, as always, the consumate professional. But, as in most of these things, the c...

Well, I have racked my brains, and all I can think of is the comic remark about the alternative name of his first show that someone else thought of 'short c...ings!' Is this the comment that is getting everyone so hot under the collar?

Can we ben the rules a little bit for 'Q'? 'On days like these' STARTS with a 'Q'. O.K. I know it's poor, but it's the best my feeble brain could pump out.
Forgive me,

Miss Brown to you.

Hi all, When I got the box set 'The singer's singer' probably like everyone I went right for the last disc and loved most of it, but one song that I absolutley love is 'Miss Brown to you'. It really makes me wonder why and how companies like E.M.I. never released this stuff before? Just imagine how ...

Not another one!

Hi all, I don't know if this is what its all about, talking about the worse songs that Matt recorded, but never mind, here we go again! Is it just me, or is the backing on 'the sweetest sounds'(Disc4, Track8,The singer's singer)slightly out of sync.? It starts of O.K. for the first few bars, then it...
