Can't Get It Out Of My Head

Thought I'd put this on, my version of the ELO song. Hope you like it and the video.

Re: I'm back

Hi Gray, yes you're right. I have now added ukulele, 5 string banjo and mandolin to my arsenal so that's keeping me busy. I've also been doing an italian course. Who said retirement was boring? I've also been creating videos and put them on YouTube. Hope all is well with you.
Regards

I'm back

Hi everyone, I've been away from the site for a while now but I'm back. I've been very busy taking voluntary redundancy and have retired! I cannot understand anyone who, on contemplating retirement, complains of not finding enough to do. There are not enough hours in the day! Anyway, hope all are we...

Thanks Richard, seems like a stellar line up in the rhythm section. That bass line is truly awesome and as a player I enjoy running through it. He also sounds like he's having so much fun ~ not the jaded session man here!
Cheers for that

Hi Richard, I'm still trying to find out who played the bass part on We're Gonna Change The World. Any ideas?

matt's songs

I do, although I haven't multi tracked anything yet. Somehow it doesn't seem quite right to do a Matt song without his voice. But I'll work on it.......

I've just recorded this instrumental version of the old Doris Day number and thought I would share it with you.

The mono mix can often be better as ably demonstrated by The Beatles' Sergeant Pepper. The mono version throws things out which are lost in stereo.
Having got both versions I know which one I prefer! Not that I want to be considered a dinosaur.....
