I recently bought a new and needed car... and in return the dealer puchaced my old car... A few days later .. I had forgotten my Cd of Matt in the cd player... So don't you think someone is getting a wonderful gift left in my car ?? And probably o new MM lover......

always so good to hear your replies.... No Robert, I didn't know of Gordon"s drinking problems... It seems so many have that problem.... Another thought occured to me... Most of the great voices . .. including Matt, Sinartra, Perry Como. Macrae, w ith the exception of Jack Jones... were all short me...

In my opinion Matt Monro still reigns as the King of voices... But I will say this is not a new discovery , but I do believe Gordon Macrae had similar qualities. It seemed his voice expressed the same compassion the same sentiment, and expression .. and he did have a beautiful voice... and also left...
