Eh Karl, A PVR is a Personal Video Recorder, or a DVR Digital Video Recorder. Think of it as a VCR only instead of tape, it's a hard drive. Why do record companies (EMI and their sublabels are famous for this) continue to release COMPILATION CDs? One or two comprehensive compilation CDs or a box set would be sufficient for goodness sake. Yes, I know, they've been around forever. But I've had a PVR now for about three years (and now have two of them) and they're the greatest thing since sliced bread. However, the multiregional PVRs that play DVDs are not prevalant in these parts (nor are/were the VCRs).
