Hello from me.

Post by Chris Kelly » Thu Jun 19, 2008 9:56 pm

Hello everyone. I hope the photo hasn't shocked you all too much. I am 49 years old and i live in North Cheshire, fully retired with a wife and 4 kids. I'm here to learn about the great man because I don't know that much about him. But I do know that he is the finest male singer I have ever heard. I like rock music, soul music and many other styles too. But when it comes to the perfect voice, clarity and professionalism, then there was nobody as good as Matt Monro. He was a star and should be a world legend. I hope I can contribute . Chris

Well I'm not the one off the TV Robert. Wish I had his cash though (Producer of Inspector Morse and presenter of Clapperboard). But hey, he hasn't got my looks either!

Hi Chris
A big welcome also from me;
I hope you like a bit of verse.
It's not everyone's cup of tea,
but you know, you could do worse.
Keith

P.S. Similar hopes rest on your shoulders
also Dottie. Welcome!

Hi Keith,

I could do worse than a bit of verse,
and a cup of tea is fine by me,
so don't despair and do your best,
and brighten the day for me and the rest.

Chris

Hi Chris

I'll try and make this rhyme,
If I have the time,
But as tea's on the table
I may not be able.

So welcome to the board
and have lots of fun
We're an eclectic group,
but don't let that put you off!
Michael

Here I go again, I hear those trumpets blow again.......

Well done to all you three, you have a fan in me.
Let's hope the rhymes and verse will flow,
Keith sees to that, I'm sure you know. :D
Marian
