Hello everyone!

hello folks!
I am very pleased to be here and hopefully learn more about the great talent , Matt Monro, as well as hopefully contributing to the forums.
I have been a fan of Matts since my early years growing up in the 70's and 80's.
Although I have quite an eclectic taste in music, anything from Gary Numan, Led Zepplin, the Sex Pistols, Neil Diamond, The Eagles, AC/DC...etc...( I could go on but I think you get the idea?) my main love has always been the crooners, in particular Matt and Sinatra.
Matts voice is like velvet and his interpretation of the songs really do bring them alive.
I am a singer myself, although not in the same league as Matt I hasten to add! and I have performed my solo act over the years mainly in pubs and clubs.
Unfortunately through health issues, Multiple Sclerosis, I haven't been gigging over the past couple of years, but recently I have got back into rehearsing and starting to find my voice again so hopefully, fingers crossed? I will get back out and gigging regularly again and doing what I love best!
My material is big band, Monro, Sinatra, Martin, Damone, etc.. and in my own small way I tried to keep the flame burning for Matt by letting everyone know, especially the younger audience, just what a talent and privilege we in the UK had with Matt Monro and to check out his albums!
Well that is enough about me!
Hopefully we will all catch up on a thread or two?
