Matt Monro Forum

Hi Folks,just a short introduction. I live in Aberdeen, Scotland. I have come to the forum to learn more about Matt Monro and his songs.

I started singing a year ago at age 48 (yes I know I left it a bit late) and I am amazed at the reaction when I sing one of Matt's numbers.I intend to sing more of his songs in future to keep his memory alive.

Hi Peter, welcome aboard the forum, it's always nice to hear from new members. There is generally someone around to answer any questions you may have on the country's best vocalist, and you are never too late to start singing Matt's music, so join in the discussions whenever you can.

Welcome from us too Peter.I only joined this year and warn you it can become pretty addictive!
We haven't met anyone personally of course but they are a very friendly bunch.
You will be amazed at what you learn and everyone has the main thing in common the fabulous Matt Monro.

Did I tell you that I was a tank driver, lorry driver, bus driver and sing in local pubs, just like Matt LOL.

I don't think you told us all that Pete, but we've looked on your web-site and were impressed with your shows and slides, and whats more we did enjoy your singing.
You do look a bit like Louie Walsh, but don't let that hold you back.

I've just enjoyed a look around your website too Peter.
