I'm back

Hi everyone, I've been away from the site for a while now but I'm back. I've been very busy taking voluntary redundancy and have retired! I cannot understand anyone who, on contemplating retirement, complains of not finding enough to do. There are not enough hours in the day! Anyway, hope all are well and speak soon.

Hi Dave--good to see you back. Yes I agree with you about retirement--I took voluntary redundancy when I was 52, and since then I have not had a single minute when I have been bored--and most days I run out of time to do everything that I want to do.

Couldn't agree more, there's not enough hours in the day. These computers get in the way of everything

Yes-I have to agree, I spend more time on the computer than on housework---well, dusting is not much fun !!!!!

There is a good rhyme about dusting.I will put it on the 'Thought of the Day'.
Mind you there is nothing in it about computers!! :)

Ughh, I hate housework anyway. You make the beds, you dust, you do the washing up, and Six months later you have to do it all over again.

I usually do the dusting in our house, quite enjoy it as it happens ~ put on some music and away you go!

Hi Dave

Yes, thanks for doing that for me! :)
How is your playing going?
I seem to recall you were going to have a crack at another instrument...?

Hi Gray, yes you're right. I have now added ukulele, 5 string banjo and mandolin to my arsenal so that's keeping me busy. I've also been doing an italian course. Who said retirement was boring? I've also been creating videos and put them on YouTube. Hope all is well with you.
Regards
