As always Matt was superb each time we saw him and we were very fortunate to speak to him after the show to tell him how much we had enjoyed it.

Sadly all the clubs have now closed down but those were times we will never forget.

:D :D
I was in the Sheffield Fiesta Club years ago and saw Rockin' Berries who were really good, the Fiesta was a nice place. The Baron Suite in Edinburgh was quite a nice place too I saw Helen Shapiro, Stuart Gillies & Calum Kennedy there.

I have seen Tony Christie twice, the first time about 6 years ago and the last time just over a month ago, the man gets better all the time and his voice is as strong as it ever was.

Last weekend I was in Amsterdam as my friend Madeline Bell was performing the music of Ray Charles at the Concertegebouw on Saturday (her birthday) which is the reason I was there. When she got to Hit The Road Jack the entire audience decided it was going to be her backing group and sang the chorus with gusto, they had such a great time Madeline had to reprise the song and for the last ten minutes of the show the capacity audience were on their feet clapping and singing along with shouts of "More".
