All mine are movies:

'Something Good' from The Sound of Music
'Superstar' from Jesus Christ Superstar
Any muscial number from Sweet Charity (choreographed by Bob Fosse)
'Make 'Em Laugh' from Singin' In The Rain
'Surry With The Fringe on Top' from Oklahoma

and my two favourite scenes from any film musical, in my opinion the best musical sequences ever put on a cinema screen:
'America' from West Side Story
'Ascot Gavotte' from My Fair Lady

Hi Robert--yes i realised I was wrong , in the middle of the night--as you do !!

I meant "Easter Parade"--but I can remember him singing ,-"I'm just a fella--a fella with an umbrella"

I loved reading your list Gray--especially your 2 favourites---which were as different as could be from each other---
from Ascot--to Downtown New York.

Just seen your reply, Marian, thanks for commenting.
These two sequences really blew me away when I saw them on a large cinema screen.
