Picking up the link from another thread, that was another of my favourite books...
BALLET SHOES by Noel Stretfield. There was also recently a television adaptation that I also enjoyed. :D :D

I can just vaguely remember reading a book called "5 CHILDREN AND IT",
which I think had a sequel also-but cannot remember much about it, apart from I enjoyed it.

Plus I think it may have been on Tv-ages ago.

Jennings, William, but also Just So Stories from Rudyard Kipling and, Parlicoot...
There's nothing to beat a good 45 rpm single...
