Well I've also cheated and after some research all I can come up with that includes these words is Max Boyce and "The Deck Of Cards" :)

Yes indeed... the word "maximum" in the clue, when abbreviated to "max" was supposed to be a subtle clue

Have to say Chris, even the Maximum clue didn't hit home, but the Welsh singer helped even though I was still dubious about this one thinking it was more a monologue.
Anyway, it got us all thinking and adds to the fun. :)

It looks as though we were "researching" at the same time, Harry and Lena--you just beat me to it.

That was a tough one Chris, so I think we did well to find it. I remember the old "Deck of Cards", and reading the complete lyrics , it made sense about Dai Morris upside down--number 9--instead of number 6.

Yes, there was just a minute in our posts Marian :)

You are correct John. I thought that Besame Mucho might have taken longer to solve even though it has been recorded by so many .. so well done. Your turn again

Yes, well done John. That's the correct one.
This song was always a reminder of waiting for your old camera photos' to be developed and sent to you.
...Someday My Prints Will Come. :)
