IF SHE SHOULD COME TO YOU -- Anthony Newley or Matt?

On the fence again as I loved it and bought it in 1960 by Anthony Newley but Matts version is just beautiful :?

Two of the best singers of the Italian Ilk.
MY FOOLISH HEART.... VIC DAMONE, ( not really one of his best ) so it's
MY FOOLISH HEART ...AL MARTINO. :) :)

Volare (Nel Blu Dipinto Di Blu):

Domenico Modugno
Dean Martin
Bobby Rydell
Al Martino (I seem to recall this was a disco version)

No debate on this ... an easy win for Domenico Modugno

CLIMB EVERY MOUNTAIN
Shirley Bassey
Dickie Valentine
Although it is associated more with Shirley, and even Peggy Wood's version from The Sound Of Music, I love Dickie Valentines version of it. I think it is one of his best recordings. Just beautiful.

Agree with you John, in fact probably the best version. :)

The song.."MORE" has been covered by so many singers. To name a few,
Al Martino, Andy Williams, Perry Como, Jerry Vale. Nat King Cole, Bobby Darin, every one superb, but no doubt at all ..t's MATT'S version :) :) :)

I know many won't agree with me on this one.

Can't Take My Eyes Off You

Andy Williams
Frankie Valli

The true international classic is Frankie Valli's version.

WITH THESE HANDS Shirley Bassey or Matt
Although I like Shirley's version, I much prefer Matt's more uptempo version.

So many recordings of this one....AS TIME GOES BY..but narrowed it down to Two, VIC DAMONE, AND believe it or not,,, JIMMY DURANT.and for preference it's
JIMMY DURANTS version. I just love it, plus fantastic stinged orchestra of Gordon Jenkins.
