Ok--I have another one---here goes--

Hear me now, Oh, thou bleak and unbearable world
Thou art base and debauched as can be
And a knight with his banners all bravely unfurled
Now hurls down his gauntlet to thee!

Ah Marian Man Of La Mancha "The Impossible Dream."

Here's one.......

When I Was A Boy, my Mother often said to me.
Get married boy and see how happy you will be.
I have looked all over but no cutie can I find.
Who seems to be, just like the little girl.
I have in mind...

Hi Lena and Harry and Marian,
If Terence doesn't have the right answer, could it be "Mammy"(not sure of the spelling) the Al Jolson number, and maybe "Impossible Dream" for Marian's offering? :?

Marian

No Terence and Marian that isn't the song, but his clue should give away the title.
"It's the kind of girl that he wanted" :)

Lena and Harry,
I wanna girl, just like the girl, that married dear old Dad, springs to mind, but I don't know if that is the title, or if it's a Jolson song.

Hi everyone, I'm back.. and it was WONDERFUL! Will write all about it on the JJ page.
Pleased to see I got the correct title Lena and Harry. I'll have another go then -
Your words poetic are not pathetic,
On the other hand babe, you shine,
And I can feel after every line
A thrill divine
Down my spine.

A bit like mine last night!!!
We travelled by bus and train so the travelling part was smooth I'm pleased to say, despite being Friday the 13th we made every connection just right

It is not--"You're the tops"---is it ???
