Ah Marian, this one the lovely Linda Ronstadt number.

" It Never Entered My Mind."
Here's another...... :)

I Sit Alone And Dream Dear
Dream Of You Night And Day.
Once You Were Here Beside Me.
Now You Are Far Away.
I've Had My Fortune Told Me.
Can I Believe It's True.
Soon We Shall Be Together.
Living Our Life Anew.

Listening yesterday to Eric Hall, he mentioned this very song.
It was made popular by one of Erics favourite female vocalists. :)

Thought while the current song was being guessed, a follow on list from the previous song list was due, making it easier to check.

YOU'D BE SO NICE TO COME HOME TO.
PENNIES FROM HEAVEN.
HEY THERE.
LA VIEN ROSE ( Take Me To Your Heart Again)
BUT NOT FOR ME.
THE DESERT SONG.
YOU BROUGHT A NEW KIND OF LOVE TO ME.
YOU ARE TOO BEAUTIFUL.
KEEP YOUNG AND BEAUTIFUL.
I LOVE ALL OF YOU.
SEPTEMBER IN THE RAIN.
THE SUNSHINE OF YOUR SMILE.
RED SAILS IN THE SUNSET.
IT'S DE' LOVELY.
WHEN IRISH EYES ARE SMILING.
I'M ALWAYS TRUE TO YOU DARLING IN MY FASHION.
I'VE GOT A CRUSH ON YOU.
DANCING ON THE CEILING.
THE IMPOSSIBLE DREAM.
I WANT A GIRL, JUST LIKE THE GIRL.(That Married Dear Old Dad
YOU'RE THE TOPS.
PIPES OF PEACE.
THE NIGHT HAS A THOUSAND EYES.
SPRING IS HERE.
IT NEVER ENTERED MY MIND.

Marian, yes it is surprising how they mount up, and here is the summary to date. The number of songs on the Three lists on pages 8, 15, and 23, add up to Seventy Four, and with " My Funny Valentine" - having two different intro verses, and with a duplicate "Dancing On The Ceiling" the total number is Seventy Three, WOW!!! .

Here is a clue to the current verse, this song was recorded by Dinah Shore, Frank Sinatra, Harry Connick Jnr.
It was a very popular hit for The Ink Spots, but more famously recognised and sung by Dorothy Suires.

Aha--that has made it easy--it must be "The Gypsy"--I recall the song, but not the intro.

I will get back with another intro shortly.

Well here's one in the meantime and you'll all know this one.

Some Things In Life Are Bad.
They can really make you mad.
Other Things Just Make You Swear And Curse.
When You're Chewing On lifes Gristle.
Don't Grumble Give A Whistle.
And This'll Help Things Turn Out For The Best.
And......... :D

I don't really know this one, and it is a wild guess---but could it be--

"Always look on the bright side of life"?

Thats exactly what I thought it was Marian, after reading L&H's verse. So surely it must be right :?:
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

Marian and Robert, yes it is "Always Look On The Bright Side Of Life."
There are also two or three other verses to this that are quite funny. :D
We were at a brass band concert at the Albert Hall a year or so ago and at the end of the concert the chairs were removed in the arena area and they played this song and everyone was up dancing to it, words included :D
