Yes I remember Softly Softly and enjoyed it, I also remember Z Cars and dear old Dixon Of Dock Green. I was also mad on The Bill and used to set the recorder when I was abroad, the powers that be ruined that show and when they axed Graham Cole (PC Tony Stamp) that was the end, thank God my mum never saw that happen as she loved him and said if they ever got rid of him she would stop watching it.

When they changed the format I almost gave up on the show myself but stayed loyal to the end, I even bought the final episodes on dvd in Australia and they are not on release here.

Shoe Repairs
(Lena & Harry our beautiful city has been in turmoil for years due to tram works and now when we drive to Fife the lanes/speed are curtailed on the motorway as they are building a second bridge. If the budget and time goes as far out of control as the trams!!!!!!
