The Lettermen - almost anything they sing, particular favorite is "Turn Around Look at Me" almost as good as the Vogues version

This is a coincidence---here is my next choice--

PETER CETERA ....THE GLORY OF LOVE

but it is a different song, to the one Jimmy Durante sings, although I like that one too.

I think I had that Linda Ronstadt track as my favourite earler-I had trouble picking a favourite, as I love all the tracks from that album.

DANNY WILLIAMS--....MOON RIVER.

It was a shame that Danny was never able to capitalise on the big hit he had with "Moon River"---I managed to buy an Album of his, but somehow, the magic he made with his version of "Moon River" was missing.

I hope you've seen them live. They are fantastic. I'm waiting anxiously for the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame to re-open in Sharon, Pennsylvania, hometown of Tony Butala. He has moved back to Sharon and will be performing at the piano bar when he's not on the road with The Lettermen.

Here's my favourite:

The Lettermen - Goin' Out Of My Head / Can't Take My Eyes Off You

... a wonderful medley ... I love how they go back and forth between the two songs.

Paul,
I did see them live back in Chicago in the early 80's. They were wonderful. They are as good live as on recordings which is unusual. As I have stated before the Beach Boys and Chicago were not great live tho I did like their recordings. Another person I loved to see live was Harry Chapin. He was terrific and gave me a birthday kiss I still remember 30 years later. He is another who died way to soon
