John if we remember correctly, haven't they got a Harry Ramsden's in Blackpool.??.
The best Fish and Chips here in London is "The Sea Shell" in Lisson Grove Marylebone.
Yes, well Harry is going to be the Birthday Boy very soon Marian but the All Day Breakfast will definitely not be on the menu, well at least I don't think it will be. :?
We'll bet Chloe as well as Harry wouldn't refuse a full plate of Grill either Marian.

Well Harry's Birthday has conveniently co-insided with a place that our group regularly book for an evening meal. So it will be with several family members too.
It is the Tower Restaurant in Wembley and served by trainee chefs, watched intently by the trainees manager so therefore the food and service is second to none, superb. So we just turn up with a celebration cake with candles to share round. So it's perfect.

There is a Harry Ramsden's in Blackpool, funnily enough I have never been to that one, it is always jam packed whenever I go past. That is probably why, because it will be the best in Blackpool. We live about 15 minutes walk though from there, so they would be cold by the time we get them home, unless we go all posh and dine inside the restaurant!

Yes that's true John and there's nothing worse than cold Fish and chips. and they're not the same warmed up.
We've had a lot of rain today but the sun has come out now.
May take a look at the Music Hall programme and listen to Michael Buble on the Radio later.
Are you off out for your swift one tonight.??

And has it been mentioned that Gerry Halliwell's -{former Spice Girl}, has called her little daughter "Bluebell" ? Quite a pretty name , especially compared to many that are picked--or made up---these days. !

Speaking of bluebells, a friend of mine has some in his garden, the first I have seen for years, although they are past their best now.

The trouble is that the ones in gardens are often the Spanish bluebells---not the wild bluebell, with that distinctive shade of blue.

Apparently, the original British bluebells only flower on one side of the stem. The Spanish ones on both sides.

C'mon the Bluebirds! :D :D I think they're still flying over the cliffs at Dover instead of coming home to roost!

Well. if anyone was watching Cash in the Attic today. It was a lady who in the past earlier days of Tim Rice and ALW appeared on the productions of Joseph, My Fair Lady etc , and was auctioning items to help raise money towards a project of which she is very enthusiastic about.
It is towards the Bluebell Railway Fund (of which we have already discussed ) and the restoration of a steam locomotive, to get it back on track.
