I will guess From Russia With Love because his brother Noel is doing an acoustic set in Moscow soon, but Liam is not going.

At first, I thought you were referring to the group All Saints, because Liam's current girlfriend (I believe Nicole Appleton) is in that group. So Stranger On The Shore came to mind, since All Saints had a hit with Pure Shores. But then I thought that may be too obscure, and I don't think Matt Monro recorded Stranger On The Shore.

Another clue---Liam Gallagher recently compared himself to another singer--I disagree entirely-but once you have that singer , you will know the answer. This is nothing to do with The Beatles.

Could it be Theme From New York, New York? Perhaps Liam compared himself to Frank Sinatra. I can see similarities.

I finally got to the end of the first disc on The Rare Monro and I have to say that Matt's version is outstanding.
