Which was one of your Favorite New Year's Eve Celebration that you personally attended over these many years?

1. Our local Italian Club had a "Welcome 1980 New Year" Dinner-Dance in which we danced to the Glenn Miller style 14-piece band - "The Stardusters" - followed by City Fireworks!

1 A Tablet---my present to myself ! Love it !!!

2. An Apple I-Pad Mini.....I have to take a learning course from the nearest Apple Store....It's confusing to me!

I may have got the Ipad Mini, but it was double what I paid--I bought a Samsung Galaxy 7--it is brilliant--I have only had it a week, but so far, I have downloaded amd played several games and played in competition against my sister : downloaded 2 books ; copied some music from my computer: accessed my email, and sent some : took some photos and edited them : watched countless Youtube clips: caught up on BBC Iplayer, searched the internet, checked out Ebay--so I am really pleased with myself, as I had never even seen a tablet before, was not really sure what it did, nor have I ever used a smart phone--so it was all new to me---but it seemed really easy--I am going to my neighbours on Saturday, as shew wants one, so I will show her how to use it.

Mind you, my nephews 2 sons had one each for Christmas aged 11 and 6, and within 5 minutes they both had it all sorted out.

3 A Buddy board--from my sister--I know none of you will know what that is, so I will tell you that it is used for craft work.

Just in case anyone is interested, I just beat my new Tablet at Cribbage-121 to 100--so feeling pretty pleased with myself---George taught me, and we played it often, but i have not played for ages-I know it is on the computer too, but I do not play games on the computer-well very rarely anyway.
