Sandra, "Yield To The Night" was a good film, and Diana Dors played the part well, and I always considered her a much more sexy and attractive pin up in her heyday than Marylin Monroe.

It's me Gray ( Lena )who liked actress Diana Dors although I'm sure that Harry wouldn't seperate either of these too glamorous stars.
This is something we remember in the late Sixties, there was news that well known ex circus performer and strongman Butty Sugrue who owned a public house "The Admiral Nelson" in the next road to ours had high hopes of beating a previous record of someone who had stayed alive underground for a length of time and with the hopes of winning a bet, he generously volunteered one of his potmen to have the honour of doing this task. NICE !!
This all happened and he was buried in a small mews not far from the pub and everyone would troupe down there to look at poor old Mike down this shaft where he was buried 9 feet under ,little more one could do but just to say hello and how are yer doing and drop a sandwich or Two ..
He was being lowered food and breathing through a hose pipe that had been fixed up.
One night after nearly Three weeks news came that Diana Dors was going to be there to take a look which drew the crowds and the press was naturally there
I was going to say how down to earth she was, but sadly it was poor old Mike who took that honour and after they eventually brought him up, not sure what he gained from this stunt but soon after that he passed away apparently.
The press said that she had brought a smile to his face.
