Hi John
I assume I now have the honour of suggesting
a line, well here goes: 'I can feel when you're beside
me.' I'm sure one of you forum bright sparks will
get it instantly.

Spot on Mariana, that's the one: a song of beautiful
simplicity. Matt would have made a memorable
version of it.

You were all wrong...I was watching an old Royal Variety Performance with Ken Dodd, Liberace and Jack Jones to name but a few.

But, Lena and Harry, you were correct on your answer, AGAIN!

I have an old Royal Variety Show with Jack Jones on it, but I think it's a different year, I'll have to check. :D he appeared twice. I think this one has Howard Keel with him.
Was he very thin on yours John? If so, I think it might have been 1972, the same year he collapsed during his tour and had to go home.

It is from 1972 Marian, but I haven't watched all of it yet, was he the top billing? I know he is on it.

But, I don't think Howard Keel is on it. Arthur Askey, Mike Yarwood, Ken Dodd, Liberace, Elton John, Danny La Rue plus loads more as well.
