Marian, there are still so many but if it gets to Three letters which it will, it could go on and on, so perhaps we will see what Keith thinks about a halt. I have submitted Warn which is an error

Marian my dear, hello to you.
Since you decree it's VITAL
that we have a new TITLE,
I'll see what I can do;
the Matt Monro discography
should provide the lexicology.

I have an idea for one that should give lots of words--

"Blue and Sentimental"-----but I think it will be best to start it as a new thread, so that we ---or anyoine else does not get confused.

Hi Mariana
I like the look of your new thread. However,
I also think it would be interesting to see how
many words the old one provided and each author's
total. Maybe your namesake will kindly bring her
computer skills to bear on the matter; if it has to be
done manually I am happy to undertake the task.
Also do you think we should keep it to no fewer than
four letter words, if you'll pardon the phrase?
Keith

PS Congrats from me also; did you know that the
inventor of the biro, Laszlo Biro has a surviving daughter,
age 73, whose name is Mariana?

Hi Keith, I'm away from the computer for a couple of days at my daughter's, so will leave it entirely up to you whatever you guys decide.
Marian

Hi Keith-I think the only way of doing a list of words etc is manually.

I am off out for lunch today, so could not manage it today.

As I had a spare 10 minutes, I thought I would do a quick count up-I cannot vouch for it being 100% accurate, but near enough.

Paul got 2 [so I guess he is working hard again]

Keith got 13

Harry and Lena got 30

Marian got 30

Me [Mariana] got 32--but I know at least 2 were repeated words.so that also makes me believe it or not 30

But well done to both Harry and Lena and Keith who both got a nine letter word---Susie Dent would be proud of you !!

Also well done to Marian with an 8 letter word, which was the only one I spotted.

PS yes, I think the next time should be restricted to words of 4 letters or more--plus no plurals !!!

Hi Marian(a)
Thanks for giving us the results of the Kent jury.
I'm not surprised that L&H were frontrunners -
but I didn't anticipate a three-way tie. No loft-ladder,
yet again, but a winning score nevertheless. Well done!
It was good fun, particularly the enjoyably clever way
in which authors set the words in the context of sentences.
Marian(a), I hope you will now start the new thread that we
may, perhaps, embroider into another literary tapestry.

Ok---I will stick with "Blue and Sentimental" then, if that is Ok.
