Another good western theme tune - The High Chapparel :)
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

I have just been watching a repeat of "Just Good Friends" [on G.O.L.D.] with Paul Nicholas and Jan Francis--Paul sang a nice theme tune to it.

Strangely enough, although I believe ir was a popular series, it has never been released on video or dvd-as far as I know.

Tonight I'm going to a show honouring Frank DeVol who was the arranger of Nat King Cole's Nature Boy and arranged my favourite Doris Day album Hooray For Hollywood. He wrote three of my favourite TV show themes. They were three of my favourite TV shows as well! :)

My Three Sons

Family Affair

The Brady Bunch

We remember watching MY THREE SONS on TV with Fred MacMURRAY and remember THE BRADY BUNCH, although we never watched this or FAMILY AFFAIR, but Frank Devol was obviously a great arranger for these Two fantastic vocalists.
Have a great evening Paul :) :)

The Frank DeVol tribute was fantastic. It featured a local big band who played many of his film and TV themes. There's nothing quite like listening to a live big band! An actor played the part of Frank DeVol; he was superb ... almost like a one man show. The programme also featured singers to sing Nature Boy, Whatever Will Be Will Be, Ballad of Cat Ballou, and three ladies dressed as The Supremes to sing The Happening, which was co-written by Frank DeVol. So our Matt Monro has also sung a Frank DeVol song. :D And there were many clips from the movies that Frank DeVol scored. It was really a special evening. :)
