Hi all. Yes i'm back again. I didn't make it clear in a previous post, but I type with EACH index finger, so i'm really a two finger typist (hope that's not rude).
I believe Michele has previously mentioned that "Birth of the Blues" is ON the Rare Monro.
Yes I too remember "The Typewriter" song.

Robert--I think you are showing off now---typing with 2 fingers indeed :!: :!:

I am having trouble typing with even 1 finger at the moment, as my cute little dog Chloe,  has chewed and unscrewed one of the wheels on my computer chair, and everytime I put it back on again, it just falls off. So I am sitting at a very strange angle. Does anyone have any ideas--apart from shooting the dog!!! Just joking--I love her to bits :!:

Watching anything to do with "Singing in the rain" is a very good reason for staying with the TV--lots of MMMM's in that film :!:

Hello Mariana44 and everyone. I agree with you Mariana44 about "Singin' In The Rain", but I love the "extras" that come with the DVD, as they show clip's of film's from the 30's and 40's were all the song's from "Singin' In The Rain" originated from. Hope you can read these post's properly, with your head to one side Mariana44.

Singing In The Rain as we all know is one of the most memorable films ever made, the street scene is unforgettable with Gene Kelly, but so was Donald O' Connor when he performed the comedy number, Make Em Laugh" his fitness and his timing, the hilarious face pulling, running up walls was incredible.
We saw Tommy Steele and Roy Castle in a wonderful production of Singing In The Rain in 1984, and Roy Castle clowned his way with "Make Em Laugh." just brilliant. :)

It certainly feels great to be sitting upright again

No me. I'm not surprised in the least, I thought that they were one of the weaker teams out there and probably also because I'm Welsh, but I do have a bet on Italy and Germany to win the Cup, so at least I have a chance now that one or the other will be in the Final! :D

Hi everyone. One of the weaker team's eh................ we have 11 or 12 world class player's, everyone know's who they are, everyone in England anyway. Mind you, that's when they are ALL fit and ALL playing well, which wasn't the case in this World Cup Edgar on both count's. But we were unlucky yesterday.

Hi Edgar---looks like war

Seriously--good luck with your bets. You may well be lucky and have picked the winning team

I am on your side a little, because my mum was born in Cardiff--Right near Cardiff Arms Park---as it was then .

That's interesting Marian. Have you ever been to Cardiff. Cardiff Arms Park has all but been swallowed up by the Millennium Stadium now, but is still a focal point in the City. A to my bets, I really can't lose, as the bets I placed were two free bets I got when I bought some beer in Tesco and there was a coupon on the pack. So even if those teams don't win,I don't lose, good system eh? :D :D
