Here's a new topic that should be interesting...Your Favorite B side from Matt's many singles (from the "Complete Singles Collection").....

"WHAT TO DO" - B Side of "THESE YEARS"

Maybe this Topic should be in the "Fun & Games" Section. If so, I will move it there!
Also the B Side Songs can be repeated if you like the same song already entered. I would be interested to see which song gets the most votes!

One of my favourite "B" sides is the lovely "Leave Me Now", which is the flip side of "The Girl I Love".

I think one of my very favourite Matt songs Before You Go was actuallya B side ........

Two other B sides which surely should have been definite A sides are lovley - You're Closer to Me and the beautiful - Which Way Mary

"All That Remains", the flips side to "The Music Played" is a favourite of mine as well. I also agree with you Robert about "Before You Go".

I have many favourites - I have to confess I like some of the B sides more than the A sides!!

My Top 2 would be

Other People (flip of Born Free)
By The Way (flip of My Love and Devotion) - Daft song, which I know Matt enjoyed singing at the session. Whilst putting the singles collection together I came across a take where Matt fluffs a lyric and both he, Johnnie and a lot of the band get the giggles. I always think of this now when I hear the song.

I also like Before You Go.
I'd like to also add "So Little Time" as one of my favourite B sides and "Picking Up the Pieces"

Richard, I think that "lyric fluff" should be added as a bonus on a future CD ..............but I cannot agree that My Love and Devotion (one of Matts iconic songs) is a lesser song than By the Way

Where In the World was an A Side, Marian ................ the song is another of my very favourite Matt tracks
