A superb book

Hi, I got a copy of Michele's book for my birthday in mid-March.

It's a long time since I've read a book that has made me laugh out loud, captured the huge occasions of Saturday night TV shows (normally watched on my parents black and white portable TV when I was growing up) but also the personal poignancy of Matt's passing all written from Michele's caring perspective.

The quotes and interviews from Matt and other stars and the pictures for me all combine perfectly and it's a book I have had real difficulty in putting down.

I was in student digs on the South Ealing Road when Matt passed away and I remember how sad and reflective I felt when I heard he had left us. I was only 23 years old and into all sorts of music but it's a moment I won't forget and the relevant sections of the book remind me clearly of that time.
