Wow

Post by Peter McDowell » Tue Feb 02, 2010 8:45 pm

I finished reading the book on Sunday, I had to take a few days to let it sink in to my thick head. What can I say I don't think I have every read a book that has brought tears to my eyes so many times? You have done a fantastic job Michele.

If the object of the book was to keep the memories of your Dad alive, it works.
If you wanted to let people get to know your Dad, it works wonderfully well.
If you wanted to write about the love and faith a woman has in her husband, you hit the nail right on the head.
If you wanted to give Max a sense of where he comes from, there is no doubt he has all he needs in this book.
But most of all the love that you have put into this book just goes to show the world what being a family is all about. Being proud of what each member of a family can do for each other.

I am so honoured to have met you in the first place and I so much admire what you have created in this book.

Congratulations - all the time you have devoted to this project just goes to prove the point that if a job is worth doing, it is worth doing well.

Well done kid, Fantastic Job

That's the trouble with middle age - names don't spring to mind so quickly. My mind is a total blank.
