Dear Michele,
I have just finished reading "The Singer's Singer - The Life and Music of Matt Monro" and I wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed it. It was a very candid and honest biography. I love your dad's music, and the book has enabled me to explore some of his lesser known songs. I particularly liked the way you inserted the pictures in the book in the relevant sections rather than sticking two glossy sections in the middle of the book. I originally come from Fleetwood in Lancashire and one of my relatives reckons your Dad played a concert there at the Gasworkers club. I cannot find any evidence to support this fact. Did he ever perform in Fleetwood?

If anyone is interested, Sean's relatives were quite right, my dad did a concert at Fleetwood Gasworkers Club on 13 November 1983.
