Hi Michele,

I have finished reading your book.

I feel it is a heartfelt and very human account of Matt Monro's life.

The success of the book is Matt's triumph over adversity which is what appeals to me when I read biographies of famous people.

I particularly like the part about your parents going to a friend's house where a down at heal head chef called Sean Connery was present.

Perhaps the latter part of the book about Matt's numerous trips to Malaysia and Australasia could have been briefer.

The last couple of chapters were the most difficult to read as Matt's life ebbed away.

Overall a very enjoyable and inspirational read.

I hope you find my feedback useful.

kind regards,

Gavin
