And of course Jason Manford performed I Have Dreamed in an arrangement not a million miles away from Matt's.

Paul O'Grady For The Love Of Dogs last night. After the first advert did anyone spot Matts voice with the intro and then first line of ''Gone With The Wind''. Wow! I wonder whether Paul chooses the music to accompany the dogs?

I remember Michael Caine mentioning Matts name to Jane Horrocks in the film Little Voice ……..Michael said "Matt Monro the singing bus conductor"  ..........in Call the Midwife was Matt mentioned because he was heard on the radio or did they just mention his name in conversation.

Thank you for replying Christine :) ……..great to know Matt is still not forgotten by people (I know the series was set in the 60's...….but still good to know Matt is talked about anywhere) :)

Portrait of My Love was playing through several parts of Doctors this afternoon, I wasn't watching it, I was putting shopping away and heard it, then I heard a bit more and then a bit more later on.

Did anyone see Matt on BBC2s Blackpool Night Out? Great memories of the summer season shows that sold out on all of the piers.

A nice clip of Matt singing ,plus the story of how all artistes disliked the North Pier as it was so long and slippery in the wind and rain and how Matt slipped and broke his arm.
