Shameless

Post by john » Thu Jan 17, 2008 12:40 pm

I can't imagine many people on the forum watching Shameless  , but last night we watched the last few minutes and someone was having a party, lo and behold Matt's voice came booming out singing "My Kind Of Girl".

We didn't see this programme John, but we find that watching or not particularly watching a programme or if the radio is on your ears immediately pick up that familiar voice and it's so often Matt's.

Hi Lena and Harry,
Hope you are both well, I saw one of Ray Winstones TV Dramas a little while ago, they were playing Matts music in different scenes, even Ray was enjoying it, infact, Im sure he had ask for it to be put into the scenes, which is great.

Hi Kimberley, we are fine thank you, hope you are ok too.
You could very well be correct about Ray Winstone asking for Matt's music to be played in those plays. We wouldn't be surprised if he had demanded it. Ray is a big fan of crooners, born in Hackney, London, and particularly well known for being no mug in the boxing ring.
In fact, growing up and during his school days he was often the only kid not invited to the Christmas parties.

I have never seen 'Shameless', though friends rave about it, I really don't think I could bear to spend an hour of my life in 'their' company.

Hi John - I can't imagine anyone on the Chatsworth Estate would listen to Matt! Unless it was the lady who runs the brothel?!

Gray - - we'd always turned it off but somehow or other we have got hooked this season!

Marian's! No!!! Don't you watch it - its foul mouthed, rude and violent, all about modern life on a rough estate! But a little heart-warming as well. :

Mike

I guess I don't watch it because it's too close to home :)
