Just watched "The Italian Job" on BBC1 yet again. Absolute bliss without adverts. It was one of dad's favourite films and the singer ain't bad either!!!!!!!

Hello Michele and everyone. Yes Michele "The Italian Job" was on this afternoon after the football. On another page today, we have mentioned listening to the beginning, to hear Matts "On Day's Like These" which sound's really good on the film soundtrack.

I've been listening to "On Days Like These" on the "Matt Sings Monro" CD album I just bought online.

I was most disappointed that it is another of these copy-protected CDs so I can't rip to my PC and play with the rest of my music (a lot of Matt of course) as I sit here working. I really object to this - its not my intention to make endless copies of this and cheat the record label, I simply feel I should be able to do whatever I want with it for personal use only since I paid for it

79p from itunes, ab/fab, I'm an It Job fan, never knew who/what the fantastic intro song was! bought it earlier tonight and have played it over 20 times already!

Of the recordings I have of Matt I find myself playing "On Days Like These" more than any other. It captures an era, and the sunny "when skies are blue" days we tend to remember, it was my era, how could I not smile every time Matt's golden voice reminds me of those golden days?

This is surely every ones thoughts Bob as we listen to Matt's superb rendering of this song. It just capture that feeling of carefree days, sunny skies, sheer bliss.
