Coronation Street

Post by Administrator » Tue Nov 09, 2010 10:19 pm

I'm sure you will know by now that dad featured on Coronation Street last night. It was a very touching moment as Jack Duckworth danced with Vera in his last moments to Softly as I Leave You. Apparently it was also mentioned on Loose Woman and the News today. Did anyone see it?

Thanks for that Marian. It was very moving.
The voice of Matt Monro is part of my life. I take his music with me wherever I go.

WORDS OF THANKS

Like Frederick, Marian, I had not seen
Jack Duckworth's departure from the screen;
while ITV can sometimes get things wrong,
on this occasion they were 'right on song'.

I watched it on the ITV player, which like BBC IPlayer keeps programmes up for a week after screening :)
