Last year my sister and I saw the Show "Sinatra at the Palladium" - it was fantastic and we said after that it would be even more fantastic if there was a "Matt Monro at the Palladium". Anyone else see it? It would make a wonderful show.

It would be wonderful Patsy, and welcome to the forum, but it would apparently prove way too expensive. I suggested earlier maybe adding a few film clips of Matt Senior in Matt Jnr's shows, but the cost rules this out.
Every film clip has to be paid for, and every one costs a fantastic amount. Also reliable projector equipment is hard to come by, would compete with the sound system, and would be another stumbling block to such a venture. (Unless you're a millionairess of course Patsy!)

Hi Patsy, we saw this Sinatra show at the Palladium. and we agree it was fantastic
A similar one for Matt would be marvellous but Marian has explained about the cost etc.

Now that would be risky and asking for trouble Mark.
We know what happened to Rudy Valee many years ago when he put on a crap show.
His final song being "Give Me Something To Remember You By." and if by magic, rotten grapefruits were shyed at him from every direction.
Incidently the Sinatra show is making a return here next year. Ten different venues from March until June.

Surprised you got away with the word "crap" Lena and Harry, although I'm sure you would both be very entertaining, and it wouldn't be!
I'd really like to see the Sinatra Show if it comes our way.
I see they are putting Frank on some postage stamps in the U.S. next year.
I actually got one this year from a JJ friend, with a stamp with a picture of Jack attached to a U.K stamp. Don't know how they got that!
It would be nice to have some of Matt.

Looks like a lot of concerts going on.
Hammersmith would be my most likely one---I have been to many concerts there in the past, and got home--just !!
I'm not sure I could do it now-I was 20 years younger then!!
Plus I do not like the Hammersmith Apollo inside---it used to be the Hammersmith Odeon--or was it the Gaumont--my mum , my sister and i went there once a week, every week, to the pictures---before the days of TV--we just lived a busride away.
