Given that he is considered the singer's singer. has anyone ever considered a Matt Monro award to a young british/international singer.

I have to say it is a lovely idea, but there are so many different award shows happening here as well as the reality shows, there is little of anything else, you never know!!

Now I'm finding my way around Michele's brilliant site, that award idea is brilliant and should be followed up. Surely Matt's former recording labels would be interested if approached?

I agree Matt Monro deserves an award for His voice and he was the singers singer... and that is` because his voice was superior to all of the voices including frank sinatra.................
