We watched.. Disney's "Make Mine Music " yesterday, and enjoyed it.
This was difficult to obtain here for many years.
Through taping and wrong timing a few Christmases ago we missed the beginning, but now have it complete, plus a couple of bonus cartoons added
Benny Goodman, Dinah Shore, The Andrew Sisters Andy Russell feature in the segments of cartoons. :D :)

Watched CAMELOT on BBC2 yesterday afternoon.
Just right for a dull afternoon and I never get tired of listening
to the beautiful music from this film and the even more beautiful
(in his day!) Richard Harris.
I ALWAYS cry at the end too :( :)

Over the last week, I have been watching some 20 year old repeats on Sky, of "Whose line is it anyway""--I had forgotten how funny it was--this was in the days of a young Paul Merton, Josie Laurence, Tony Slattery, Mike Mcshane--and ny favourite--Sandi Toksvig. With host Clive Anderson.

Some of these so-called comedians today could take a few lessons from this show--I am really enjoying watching it again--I have yet to come across one that I remember, slthough I watched it all the time back then.

Even I got to hear Matt last night !!

I had been watching "Strictly",then realised it was 10 to 11---so I jumped up, locked the back door, settled the dogs, settled the cat, turned my computer off, had a quick wash, brushed my teeth--just got in my bedroom in time to hear David Jacobs say "Hello there"--immediately followed by a very familiar voice....

The strange thing is, I heard the whole programme--then half hour of my Ipod, back to the radio for 30 minutes, and another 30 minutes of my ipod--and I was STILL awake !!!!1

Good gracious Marian, what an amazing turnaround. Have you been having some secret therapy sessions on how to stay awake after DAVID.. hello there.. JACOBS play's "I Love You Samantha." :D or is PHYLLOSAN that fortifies the over Forties back on the market. :D
I would like some tips on how to stay awake in the afternoons. :D :D

The way I keep of staying awake in the afternoons is to harness the dogs up, and go out for a brisk walk--this cold weather certainly wakes me up !!

But when I get back, I am more than ready for 40 winks !!!!!

So are the dogs.....

No solution there then Marian, :D Brisk walks for me are out, and no dogs to take for a walk
We've got a Rottweiler next door that I could happily take out, but not for a walk. Grrrrr

Mariana, if you are still watching Have I Got News For You from way back I hope you come across the ones with Bruce Forsyth & Boris Johnson hosting the show.

To me they are two of the funniest episodes I have seen and even Paul Merton & Ian Hislop were laughing nearly all the way through if memory serves me right.

Yes, I am still watching "have I got news for you" and I do remember the episodes with Bruce and Boris. Paul Merton always makes me laugh. I have to admit , I still miss Angus Deayton--some of the guest presenters work--but not all of them.

I just realised I made a mistake in my previous post-I should have said "Whose Line is it anyway" which is showing twice a day just now--but previous post now corrected-I do tend to get the names of those 2 shows confused--but i enjoy them both.

Yes Marian that is the episode with Bruce Forsyth and they called it Play Your Iraqi Cards Right - at the end Paul Merton said "I've waited fourteen years for a show like this, I'm having the time of my life".
