What Movies Have Been Playing On Your DVD/Video Lately?

Robert, I think what John meant was, it was the weekly series of The Worm That Turned, but that Diana Dors was only in the one episode that happened to be the Christmas Special, and he had remembered it especially.

I think I may have confused you Marian. The Two Ronnies always had a weekly serial during their series, about 5 minutes worth in each show, and it ran through the entire series and as Robert said, The Worm That Turned was the title of one of these series. I thought she was in each one of them, but according to the IMD she was just in the Christmas special, but they could be wrong. Phew!!!

I went to see 'Source Code' at the cinema last night, a time-travel thriller that has had really good reviews but I only thought of as average.

Last night watched a Laurel and Hardy film, Blockheads. Hilarious!

Watched the dvd Matt On TV tonight from the Ultimate Performer.

Watched an episode of "Bonekickers" and then followed it up with an episode of "The Cazalets" but the ending just left you hanging!! What happens to Clary and her cousin? Oh they should've made another series...oldies but goodies I know. I bought the new Gweneth Paltrow movie Country Strong this evening but haven't opened it. I'm really waiting for Gnomeo and Juliet on DVD... and the second installment series of Downtown Abbey!! I know I've got strange tastes...LOL

Can't say I know any of those shows you mention Eman, apart from Downton Abbey of course. We live quite close to Highclere Castle where the series is filmed and often visited, as it is open to the public on certain days.
Since Downton Abbey I doubt we'll never be able to get anywhere near the place again!!

I have been listening to TIm McGraw and Gwyneth Paltrow singing-I really like it--she has a good voice, as does Tim of course--usually sings with his wife Faith Hill.

I cannot remember the title of the song, but it has Tennessee in the name, and I think it comes from the film.

One of my friends saw Gnomeo and Juliet, and loved it--but it is not my kind of film--I think I would prefer Country Strong-well, I kn ow I would.

Hi Gray, That's very true! We have the grandchildren for a few days while our daughter and boyfriend go to the match today and then to a friend's wedding tomorrow. Whatever the result, the sun is still shining!
