Me neither John - but it's fun trying!
Marian from Kent, gosh you really do NOT want to hear me murdering these songs! You'd be better off listening to Marian from Reading's builders! Far more tuneful!
Marian from Reading, a friend of my wifes walked in our house the other day and I was singing and hoovering at the same time - and doing a pretty awful job of both.
Imagine my horror when i discovered I had an audience.

Harry must be happy in his work anyway Lena, and I'm sure he sings beautifully!!
What a good chap to even have a go at the windows!
Wish we could have seen you Gray! at least your singing was probably drowned out by the hoovering, and doesn't singing help with the housework, and any job really.
Some good house-husbands here..
We seem to have become a bit obsessed with hoovering and giving Hoover a lot of free advertising. Don't forget my original post said "hovering"!!!!

Yes, Harry is happy in his work, and that's what matters.
As for singing, though not recently, he has been known on occasions to take the mic.. and give a few renditions.
Perhaps the next thing we could all think about now is making a record.
From the postings, it sounds as though a little bit of encouragement is all that's needed.

I've got the cotton wool ready for my ears L&H
Gray, you didn't have a "piny" on when you were singing and hoovering did you, as that would be worth watching
I will not advertise for "Hoover" Marian, as I have a Dyson
Getting back to the thread, the "Rare Monro" -disc one- is majestic Marian
I am listening to disc three of the "Singers Singer" tonight, especially to listen to "Spring Is Here"
(Just realised it is in the wrong thread, after all)

Hi Robert
No, I swear there wasn't a piny in sight, so your comparison between me and 'Mrs Doubtfire' is way off the mark

I re-strung a guitar last night for a friend's son and listened to David Cassidy, Robert...I seem to remember you saying that you didn't think he was too bad..?
I know Jeff in the US hates his version of 'Cherish', but I had it on repeat play as I really like it! (Sorry Jeff
