Yes, I did forget that, didn't I--I'm hoping I am not the only one who remembers all that stuff--I forgot to mention the tiny screen--about half the suize of my kitchen tv.

I remember some of those things Marian............also didn't the valves in the back of the TV sometimes become loose, I remember we had to keeping banging the back of our TV to get the picture back

Robert and Marian, I remember staying up late as a kid and falling asleep after the Friday Night Creature Features (horror movies) and then they would have this picture of this round thing with an indian in the middle with a high pitch frequency. Prior to that they would play the National Anthem and then when they'd sign on at 5 am they'd play it again.

Why did they put these scary movies on a Friday night only ? .................I watched them too here in the UK, but they were mainly Frankenstein and Dracula movies............but I was still truly scared.............I still do not like watching scary films

Robert, I dunno maybe it had something to do with kids staying up on a Friday night as there wasn't any school on the weekend? Simpler fun times. Yeah I watch scary movies, but not too scary. I don't want to see that new one called "The Possession" about that box that takes over the little girl. I heard it was based on a true event that happened in 2002.

It was suggested to me to watch a film called "Courageous" because my Catholic values were in question. I watched the film and I loved it. In reality I did not see where my values as a Catholic had anything to do with the film in any shape or form.
