Just woke up to Sarah Kennedy playing 'We're Gonna Change The World'
again. She said it was the wonderful Matt Monro and went on to relate the story that Frank Sinatra had said that 'he was the only Limey who could sing.

I have one of Scott Walker's albums and while he has a good voice I find I can only listen to him in short spurts before wanting to switch off. Don't know why; just a personal thing, I guess. Some singers just don't communicate to certain people in the same way as others.

"My love for you" is one of my favourite of Johnny Mathis tracks, from way, way back---it is rarely mentioned on this forum--only by me !!
So few people have ever heard of it.

I still have it as a 45 7" single. On the "b" side of the single is a track called "Oh that feeling" , which is my fave JM track ever--and as far I know, not yet released on a cd--although that could change as 10 LP's , previously unreleased as Cd's are due to be released as double cd's next month.

That sounds a bargain cd you have --especially for anyone who has not got those tracks---- sometimes about 20 times over--
that could be me again

Yes Mariana,we have always loved that song and like you we have the single.
I don't suppose you know whether the 'Heavenly' L.P. is due for release here, that is one of our favorites too.It was the first L.P. John and I used to listen to together. It only seems available as in import?
Thanks Sandra.
