You may not believe this but "Heavenly" was the very first JM cd that I ever bought--well over 20 years ago-I bought it in HMV Bond Street , in my lunch hour, and it cost me £17.00--this was when cds were very new, and it was the very first JM cd that I had ever seen. That is how I can remember it so clearly.

So whether it is now deleted, I do not know--you may see it on Ebay or somewhere. It is not included in the new batch of cds next month--

I have just looked at mine, and it looks like it was an import--on the Columbia label, made in Japan. If there is a way for you to get it, I would go for it--it was always one of my favourites, even on LP.

There is a new CD copy of Heavenly on eBay in the U.S. Sandra.
It is number 400049028286.
Just put the number in and it should come up. It is $8.07 or approx £5.32 plus $1.99 postage to the U.K.

I agree Mariana,can't wait to hear it all again,especially after listening to a 'taster' on the Amazon site ,beautiful songs beautifully sung.

John:'Hold My Hand' another lovely song,was it from a film called 'Susan Slept Here' from the 50's?

I'm not sure about that Sandra, Lena and Harry very kindly sent me this cd some time ago, but you are right in saying it is a lovely song. I do know it reached no. 1 over here in the fiftie's though. He was a very good singer.

Re the 10 JM re-releases: I'm a bit confused. Amazon UK and HMV's website give 11 May as the date of release (but no sign of them in HMV stores in London), while Amazon's US site again gives 9 June. Do you know more?

Hi Jon--as far as I know , those cds are already available in USA, and due in Uk in June. I will ask around, to see if anyone has more information.

Hi again-re Jm cds=apparently available to preorder in USaA, at Amazon--in June. They always tend to delay these releases. Still no idea of Uk release-could be about the same time.

Thanks for the info re JM re-releases. Hmm, yes I can see that they might be being released in the US first but HMV's UK site definitely gives 11 May as the release date. Just have to wait and see - hopefully it'll be June for UK.

We have a new favourite MM song.IF SHE WALKED INTO MY LIFE from the Hollywood and Broadway CD.Had to look on the LP to find out it was from the show MAME.It is a beautiful beautiful tune and we keep playing it.
