Hi Sandra

I first heard this song when Eydie Gorme sang it. I think her version is still considered the definitive one. Someone please correct me if I am wrong.

I have to say that I am a big fan of Eydie Gorme--and yes her version is great-I guess you could say it is very different to Matt's version.

Thanks Terence and Mariana.
Have a couple of Eydie Gorme CD's and love her voice.
Will look out for one with 'If She Walked Into My Life' on it.

Listening to Matt singing "Over The Rainbow " ... just beautiful :) on Eric Hall.
Matt won the listeners votes at the end of the programme over Shirley Bassey's " How Do You Keep The Music Playing." :)

Just been on You Tube and listened to three versions of 'If He Walked Into My Life'.Eydie Gorme,Shirley Bassey and a Leslie Uggams.
Eydie Gorme certainly wrings out every bit of emotion, but listen to the other two, they are superior I think.

We like all these singers and the Eydie Gorme and Steve Lawrence double duets.
Three great versions of "If She Walked Into My Life" Sandra, but Shirley has my vote on this one.

I just heard that ! It was lovely, especially because he sang the verse of the song, which I always love, whichever song it is.

I agree Lena and Harry, the Shirley Bassey version is superior.
Terence,I have been looking for through the Amazon CD's for you and can only find that particular track on a CD called THE EMI/UA YEARS 1959-1979.But it is very expensive.Has anyone else found a more reasonable one?
