It is a great song by Vince John. I also like Sinatra's version, and Dinah Shores. :)

That is a song that I never thought that I would hear sung by Vince Hill, and I think he sounded great, especially as it was recorded right at the beginning of his career.

Have you heard the version by Johnny Mathis--yes, I know I'm biased, but it is great--recorded many many years ago--and when he included it in concerts several years ago, he sang a completely different version, different slower tempo--but still great--I love that song, yet it is not often heard.

I also have it sung by Jack Jones, Ella Fitzgerald, Steve Lawrence, and Sophie Millman, who many of you may not have heard of. She is a young, modern jazz singer.

Ronnie Hilton, another singer from my neck of the woods :)

Listening to Mitzi tonight, which is Mitzi Gaynors latest CD on the Flare label, which contains songs from Mitzi's career, including songs from South Pacific :)
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

I can vouch that Johnny Mathis's recording of Like Someone In Love is beautiful. I really love it. :)

Right now I'm listening to my favourite song this month and a former UK #1: I'm Not Alone by Calvin Harris from Scotland. Best dance song of 2009 so far.

Johnny Mathis CD with "Someone In Love," is superb, he sings the verse to most of the songs. :) Thanks to Mariana for this CD, :)
Just listening to "If Love Were All." :)

We do agree, it's a great CD, and with a slightly more upbeat on "Like Someone In Love" that is different and works brilliantly.

Yes we always had Freddy Gardner playing in our house when I was young-superb saxophonist.
It was a 10" L.P. I think it was called Golden Tones of Freddy Gardner.
We have been listening to 'The Very Best Of Kenny Baker-fabulous trumpeter.
