Hi Robert,
I had a big search for Disc 2 too! That's why I said it was a bit like putting up a deckchair when the set first arrived!
A couple of mine jump so I'm a little unhappy. I'm not sure yet if it the CDs or my ancient equipment though. :( :(

I have just got a cd in the post today of Don Cornell, "Something To Remember You By". Great 2 disc set and features some of his later recordings. :D

Don Cornell, another great voice of the Italian American set.

I'm listening to Matt's disc 4 of the singles collection. Just A Heartbreak ago. :)

I remember Mike Preston John. I met him at the Radio show in 1950/60 something or other, and he signed my autograph album! I still have it.
I have a few of his original 45s. The only one I can think of at the moment is.. A House and a Car and a Wedding Ring (but I don't know what I'll do without a wife.)
He's also mentioned in Michele's book.

Mike Preston is another "newbie" to me Marian. When I was buying a cd from Amazon a couple of weeks ago, they always suggest other artists that are similar, so I got about half a dozen discs of singers from the late fifties/early sixties and I am enjoying all of them. Mark Wynter is another one, but not listened to him yest, but I do remember him anyhow. They were all very reasonable as well, a couple only cost me about four pounds. And they are all "anthology" discs as well, so there are a lot of tracks on each. :D
