Eman, i had to smile at you mentioning Phil and Grant from Eastenders---do you get to watch it over there? I used to watch it all the time, but I never watch it now.

I do not recognise the name of the De Franco family--but I do know the song Abra-ca-dabra.

Hi Mariana, They used to show it here but it was on and off on BBC America. I would either watch on the website or on you tube. Have you seen that clip? It was from a video of stuff that wasn't aired on tv. I think it was a tribute to the Mitchells. I also used to love Coronation Street and the Aussie one called "Neighbors" when Jason and Kylie were on it...LOL I am so lame at times.

Yesterday in the car listened to Vic Damone's Why Can't I Walk Away album, also his Stay With Me album, and today Andy Williams "Can't Help Falling In Love and Lets Love While We Can.

Thanks Eman--yes, I got to see them both Ok--I sdtill did not recognise the Defranco family, but it was fun watching them.

I loved Phil and Grant doing Kung fu fighting----it was good to see them again----Eastenders is just not the same now--I hardly recognise anyone on it.

I'm glad the links worked. There was nothing like the good clean family groups of the 70's. I miss that a lot. The DeFrancos mirrored my own family as we were 3 boys and two girls also, however musical? LOL My Mum always loved the group as she said they were a breath of fresh air and Tony DeFranco the lead singer wasn't as screechy as Donny Osmond.

On Eastenders, I lost track of who's who now with all the changes and stuff. You're right I miss Phil and Grant. Ross Kemp does documentaries now doesn't he?

Listening to Dusty Springfield's CD Dusty in Memphis tonight .................Karl, you are the Dusty expert. When I played this CD for the first time tonight, the re-mastered sound seemed a little off putting, it sounded very echoey as though some of the tracks were re-mastered in the bottom of a well or something...............what do you think Karl ?
