Just been listening to a new cd of Judith Durham, "Colours Of My Life", celebrating 50 years. Some lovely tracks from over the years, some on cd for the first time, plus a couple of new tracks too. Her voice has never altered over the years. :D

Trying out a new DVD for my Mums birthday in May.Didn't know whether to put it in the CD slot as it is music but on a DVD.
She is one of Frank Sinatras greatest fans and we discovered a new release called FRANK SINATRA
A MAN AND HIS MUSIC TRILOGY.
Brand new remastered audio. All of the sensational 60's A Man And His Music TV Specials now on one disc for the very first time.

We are only half way through listening/watching but it is a joy to see Sinatra at his best and the fantastic music of Nelson Riddle and Gordon Jenkins :D :D

Was playing Paul McCartney's latest album "Kisses On The Bottom" last night. I actually liked it as it's a change from his pop/rock stuff. In fact my Dad liked the lp (I bought the vinyl version) so much he says "Son since this isn't McCartney's usual stuff and it's not really your thing, why don't you give the lp to me?"..So I said sure Dad, not a problem. :D

Sandra I have a friend who is now 91 and she is also a great Sinatra fan, she even met him outside the Albert Hall before the concert, it's so easy to get a Xmas gift for her - anything with Frank Sinatra's name on it - however I renaged last Xmas and got her a Matt Monro cd!!!

Anyway, great to hear of that release. I have the original vinyl and cd release butu if the new oen has a dvd that's a must buy!

I also saw the great man at the Albert Hall in 1977, what a fantastic night that was, and he really did have blue eyes. we were close enough to the stage to see that!
