What's In Your CD Player/iPod/MP3/Computer/Hi Fi, Right Now?

Marian, Americans always have different phrase's to us. Some years ago our tour guide in Los Angeles told us they don't have senior citizens they have re-cycled teenagers! 8)

LOL..wow the term "chillax" hasn't made it there yet? It's been here for ages. Of course you all know the term "chill" means to take it easy, so they added "ax" from the word "relax" and presto - "Chillax". :D

Chillax has made it to the UK, it just doesn't seem to have gone nationwide.

I have got Strangeland, the deluxe version. I wouldn't say the bonus tracks are worth the extra. I must be in the minority as I like Night Train.

I'd just written the post to Eman this morning and then opened today's newspaper to see a large headline "Do We Want Our Politicians to Chillax"!
:D

Jersey Beat - The Music Of Franke Valli & 4 Seasons, so good to hear all their great tracks again, brilliant production on every record.

I am digging out records I haven't played in awhile and really enjoying them, maybe I am just chillaxing!

Marian, that headline is just "sic" and "cray-cray ha ha".. (that's another idiomatic expression that means "cool" and "crazy funny") lol..

I've only heard it 3 times so far, but I like the return to their original sound. I don't think they'll ever better Hopes And Fears. The bonus tracks haven't really stuck in my head at all.

Listening to the Gold Collection by Tavares tonight :) ............I like their major hits, but the CD is nore of a filler of lesser known songs
"My Tears Will Fall Now That You're Gone,
I Can't Help But Cry, But I Must Go On" :(

I don't agree that Hopes and Fears is Keane's best. It will always be most people's favourite Keane album because of Somewhere Only We Know and Everything's Changing. Bedshaped is beautiful, but the rest I consider filler, especially This is the Last Time. Bend and Break was okay, but I don't even recall what the others sound like. I would guess that most people wouldn't recognise them either, but everyone thinks it's their best album. Really bugs me.

A Bad Dream was the highlight on Under the Iron Sea, and I liked Nothing in My Way, which is classic Keane.

I loved every song on Perfect Symmetry and it flowed just perfectly. You Don't See Me is gorgeous.

Clearly I love the slow ballads. I've read reviews that indicate Strangeland has nothing like Bedshaped, A Bad Dream, or You Don't See Me. Is that true? Some people seem to love the song Strangeland, but it's on the deluxe version, and Mike doesn't think much of the bonus tracks.

----------------------------

The only singer I've been listening to the past few days is Donna Summer.

Eman wrote:Paul I have the vinyl version which is the standard one. I paid $16.99 for the lp! I love it then again I never listen to what critics say. I also picked up Some Nights by Fun which has the hit We Are Young, plus two albums by folk singer Bon Iver. Bon Iver is really mellow and just basic chillax music and nice to play in the background while reading or taking a nap!! I think you'll love Keane's new album Paul!
I bought the sheet music for We Are Young by fun.. That song has one hit wonder written all over it, but I believe fun. have had some other releases. Is that true? Another certain one hit wonder has to be Gotye's Somebody that I Used to Know. The followup is so ordinary, I'm surprised stations are playing it.
