Ok, I looked up Edward Woodward on you tube so I can hear what he sounded like. He's awesome. Karl, Marian, can you suggest a cd that's still in print that's good?

I have to admit I never knew Edward Woodward sang as well Eman, I have just watched a clip from the Morecombe and Wise show, he was singing "The Way You Look Tonight" and he was really good. I think I may be looking for a couple of his cd's as well. :)

John, that's the clip I saw also. I also listened to Try To Remember and just loved his rendition of the song.

Edward Woodward sang "The way You Look Tonight" on one of the Morecambe and Wise shows Karl.
He also made some appearances and sang on the old time musical shows "The Good Old Days." :)

Yes L&H I know Edward sang that song on Morecambe & Wise as I watched the clip yesterday.

Who puts all that great footage on Youtube and why can't it be released commercially?

Why haven't I got it now? :(

Love Frank Sinatras' version though, and wouldn't Matt have sung it well :)

It seems almost possible to buy any recordings by Edward Woodward now--they may turn up on ebay sometime--how I regret letting George sell all our Edward Woodward Lps at a boot fair !! This was long before the days of ebay--before the days of computers, come to that !!

Most of the CDs on ebay seem to be transfers from LP and cassette, so not sure of the quality or legality of those.

Mike as far as I am aware Edward only had one official cd released.

It is certainly illegal to sell cd's that are transferred from disc, that is unless you are Hallmark records!!!, and they are of a certain age which Edwards are not.

Edwardian Woodward & Don't Get Around Much Anymore burning to cd, on the first album it's good to hear Edward's humour come through on some tracks.
