Well done to David Jacobs programme tonight playing our forum members favourites. We've been treated to Jack Jones singing " This Could Be The Start Of Something Big " and Johnny Mathis "On A Clear Day"
A great programme ...as always :) :)

Yes L&H, he even ended his show with Moira Anderson, who doesn't get much airplay these days :)

I don't know if i've just missed it before Robert, but wasn't there a different introduction to the usual one on David's programme tonight ? :)

I think Radio 2 has changed all their jingles that they play before all the programmes L&H  ..............but DJ started his show with his usual "Hello There" :)

How did I miss those tracks again---I know it had been on for 5 minutes before I switched the radio on---but I do not remember anything after that !

Listening to an album called "Constantly" by John Gary from 1975. Here he is singing contemporary 70's pop songs. I got into John Gary thanks to our own Terrycomo (Terry). Haven't heard from him but I know he's on Facebook and I'll shoot him a message to say hi and what's up!

John Gary is a nice singer Eman, he has different ranges in his voice. I have quite a lot of his LP's and cd's. :)

I was istening to his Very Best Of cd again at the weekend, I find his high range rather spooky it's as if somone else is singing but know it's him.

Yes, his range is quite remarkable Karl. I love his version of "Two Different Worlds".

John, he's quite the singer and I bought some lps for less than a dollar and they were in good shape after Terry recommended him. He does have the range . Terry told me before that John Gary was a diver and could hold his breath long and that's why he could hold the notes. Awesome singer!!
